And what that's doing is it's dividing the viewing area of the photo.
into the number of little tiny dots that we call pixels or picture elements.
And generally speaking,
The more of those pixels, those little dots that you can have, the more and more fine-grained details.
the uh the image can or or the photo can pull out of the scene that it is capturing.

So that's the equivalent of resolution in audio, because in audio the thing you are trying to resolve is this waveform.
That has a bunch of big wiggles in it and also riding along top of those big wiggles a bunch of small wiggles and then smaller wiggles yet on top of those wiggles.
