And like an extreme prog metal track at some point that I liked as a younger person and I was like, you know, still have the nostalgia for it.

And I'd never heard it on really high-end gear.

And it's like it's proggy 'cause it's just this big metal blast for a while and then they take a break.

And of course the drummer has been doing the double pedal kick and just going crazy for, you know, five minutes.

So he's gotta be tired.

And all of a sudden I'm like, wait, what was that?

And I realized that I heard him set his sticks down.

A little bit after that, you hear 'em picking them up again.

Just like okay, that those sounds are not part of the music.

Right.

But it's one of those things where it's like if your audio system

can show you that, can present that to you, then you can trust it to present what is in the music to you, um, to a very high level as well.
