Now I went for a spell with him that I was starting and then all of a sudden I was out of the team and I did work hard
to get back into the team.
And I did turn the corner with him.
I definitely had a lot of ups and downs with him.
But there's definitely players that we all know in football that as soon as they're out of the team, their head's gone and they just don't want to play for the manager no more.
And I think sometimes how it's gone from of late at the last few clubs, it looks a little bit like that.
Just do the opposite of what I did, I think.

It was difficult because, you know, when he first come on the scene, it was, we were playing, he went for four, three, three.
So, for instance, if I had the ball, you know, he would go through two or three options for me.
But then he was also saying, you know, if you can't, if those aren't on, you know, you just play.
Just do what you see.
But he would have the team set up so he would want the fullback to do certain things, make certain runs.
But I think he played Gallas in front of me for a long time.
And obviously Gallas is brilliant defensively.
But I still didn't think, I still thought I had more to offer going forward than him.
But it just, like I said, it was up and down for me.
I don't really, I thought I was giving him what he needed sometimes and it wasn't, but I didn't know what that was.
I didn't know what it was I wasn't doing to not be playing for the periods of time that I didn't play.
