So he's been a game-changer in that regard.

You know, the NBA has some great players, but some of the iconic teams weren't in the finals recently, and certainly in last year's final they weren't.

I think it'll kind of go back and forth for a while.

But I think baseball has to be aware that they're on a huge wave right now.

They're riding high in the sense of TV ratings and popularity.

Baseball stands alone as the sport all summer.

So there's no competition really directly.

Once the NBA Finals are over, baseball is by itself until football starts.

So they have a two- or three-month runway that really no other sport has of being isolated and being able to control the entire,

sports world.

And I think baseball, the more they can take advantage of that, the better off it will be.

I thought in the pandemic year that the one thing that it seemed to be universal was that baseball was really missed as the summer was going on and everybody was stuck inside and baseball wasn't happening.

And I think that if baseball has any intent of a long lockout for next year, they need to remember that they're isolated on that stage and it will be a huge miss

for them not to be out there if something does occur with this lockout that keeps the players off the field for any real length of time.

You know, he's from Hawaii, and he went to Cal State Fullerton, and there's just a super laid-back West Coast guy in there.

You know, he's not some rah-rah manager.

I don't think he's going to tip over any of the Gatorade bottles in the dugout.

He's going to be pretty even keel for this ball club.

And, you know, catchers are always prepared, right?
