don't get injured and once you don't get injured you build a base and that's it really like yeah but a coach will definitely give you a proper structured plan yeah you know I wanted to ask you what's the hardest thing about being a coach keeping people injury free as you know yourself that's the biggest part yeah because you can have so many weeks consistent building blocks
week by week and then you can be two months into a training block and get some slight injury and you're two weeks off and then you're starting from scratch again you know that's the I feel anyway that's the hardest part like I'm looking at myself as well I've been injured once in about I think three and a half four years and that's consistent training and that injury only lasted like I think it lasted about five weeks and then my performances now have gone through the roof just by consistent training and adding on more miles you know
I don't know whether it's through the years of constant miles of training and the body just adapted or else I start adding in a lot of soreness to my training and then sleep.
I change my sleep pattern so I go to bed at half eight every night.
I'll be asleep by nine o'clock.
Some nights like it's a little bit later but
Even if there's a football match on, I'd only watch the first half.
I think sleep is a big part.
I don't eat bad, you know.
I'd have a takeaway once a week, like, with the family.
But I wouldn't, Monday to Friday and Monday to Saturday, I don't eat bad at all.
And then plenty of water.
It's very hard to say, you know.
It really is very hard to say.
I do look after my body very well now.
