And, you know, we are unique.
So how do we tap into that uniqueness?
How do we, how do we process the information that's that's coming up for us without hitting overwhelm or without feeling distressed and depressed and repressed because
Those feeling states tend to come up when we've not been able to make sense of what's going on inside us or not feel comfortable with who we are.
I know on my own journey, I mean, I still see my, well, I still speak to her because of COVID, I can't see her, but I would go and still see my therapist or my counselor at least once.
Sometimes twice a month, just as I would go to the dentist and I would go and get my eyes tested.
I wanted to make sure that I was, although I'd done all this work with EMDR and brain spotting and deep brain reprocessing, which is DBR.
which is a very new kind of form of therapy.
I was always going, checking in to see her, as I say, like I would do with, you know, the optician and the dentist to make sure that, you know, I can't remember the name of the author, but there's a great book called Before We Know It.
And the essence behind the book is there's a lot that we take on and in that we're influenced by that we're not even aware of.
So when we're on this endometriosis journey and we're trying to kind of
I guess, develop acceptance and compassion to where we're at, just acceptance where we're at, but knowing that we have this unresolved, perhaps this unresolved trauma in there somewhere, but we know that we have this unwavering strength, the strength of spirit that's got us to this point.
That's what we must hang on to because that is in abundance within each and every one of us because we wouldn't be here.
When I think back, when I read my journals and I, I,
I have to go back and read my journal to remember just how bad I was.
And that's why, again, the essence of the journaling is so important because you are going to forget
where you're at right now.
You're going to move through it and past and beyond it.
And you're going to forget.
Every single woman that comes to my programs forgets.
