What's very interesting about John Sarno, I love it, totally love it, is he talks about how it's a condition called tension myositis, which is basically when there might be feelings, unpleasant feelings that
aren't accepted in society like anger and rage that are suppressed and shut down.
And as a result of that tension, it reduces oxygen supply into the cells.
It reduces blood flow.
And of course, as a result, it causes great tensions.
That's where fibromyalgia comes in from and causes extraordinary amount of pain because
The cells are literally not getting the blood flow or the oxygen to them.
So that's where, so the pain is real.
And this is where we're really starting to get down deeper.
I mean, I would say probably about six months ago, I had quite a revelation about a family member.
And anytime I was around them, I had terrible neck, head and shoulder pain.
It was like a knot.
It was like a golf ball knot in my shoulder that would appear.
And I had to work with my therapist on, I had to do some visualization and things and it's gone now.
But I really wrestled with, there was a part of me was like, what does it mean to acknowledge this person for how they are?
Now, I think when we're on this journey, we need to remember, we don't have to do anything we don't want to do.
It doesn't matter what anybody says to us or is pressurizing us or says that we should do.
we're adults now, we've got support systems now, safe people like the Knights of the Round Table that I talk about.
So it's very important, you know, to be aware of what's being projected onto you and the pressure, et cetera.
I know for me, I needed to take my time.
