And I think that's why the Bible is suchβ
An amazing explanation for that because in a world that tells you ultimately that you're a product of time plus matter plus chance, the Bible looks at you, Stephen, and says you're created with meaning and purpose and intention.
You bear the image of God.
So there's something that is actually screaming from your biology about who you are that goes beyond the fact that you're not just a physical specimen sitting in front of me, right?
You have a mind, and that mind is maybe your brain, but we're not even sure about that, right?
So what makes Steven Steven?
You're not not your body, right?
And that's why, I mean, there's this inherent conversation within Christianity about the fact that our hope is not a spiritual one.
The end result is the resurrection, right?
The reason why Jesus rose from the dead is Scripture calls him the first fruit.
So we're all going to be resurrected.
There's going to be a new heaven and a new earth.
And that's the promise of Christianity.
So that's the point.

So it's a both and.
So when Jesus' disciples ask him how to pray, he says, you know, he gives them the Lord's Prayer.
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
