the large majority of our listenership is a bunch of hikers, hiker trash, through hikers, whatever you want to call them.

And I like to ask this because this is in essence, the hiking podcast.
Why, why should hikers care about conservation of wildlife and, you know, ecotourism and, and all these things that we've talked about today, because it can, it seems a little distant, but in my mind, it is like holding hands with everything that a hiker loves and,

I wanted to wrap by asking you what your favorite moment is, or was, rather, what your favorite moment was from the Appalachian Trail back when you hiked it in 2003.
Yeah.
A lot of those type two fun moments actually come back to be some of your, or at least in my case, it's coming back to be some of my favorite memories from trails that we've done.
Like they, they just fucking suck in the moment, but you're like, wow, that actually was kind of fun and crazy that that happened.

That's a, that's a son of a bitch moment right there.
please tell me you bought him a beer for that one i bought him beer yes okay good good yeah oh yeah we didn't bring it on the trip oh no no that's that's uh that's that adds to your base weight sorry wait actually no beer is consumable but it adds to your pack weight maybe we maybe we had some whiskey you know higher concentration of of oomph right yeah no it's bigger bang for your buck that's what we do whiskey or wine on trails there we go there we go always
