Um, so that was kind of like par for the course of the special.
We have a couple of other like things in our packs that are just luxuries because we are kind of traveling abroad at the same time as we're backpacking.
And one of those luxuries is we had gotten these ponchos in Mexico.
Like these really heavy ponchings.
We were carrying these things.
And I'm like, Well damn, if I'm carrying this weight I might as well wear it.
So I remember putting it on that night.
And they also doubled for really good little blankets to sit on.
But cozy night, it did start to rain on us.
I love that that's what you remember.

To put it in perspective, we were in the middle of the French Alps hiking this trail and we're not supposed to pitch here either.
