What made you passionate about wanting to make people aware of these harms and take action?
Tell me a bit about that evolution in two thousand ten, two thousand twelve, when you were seeing this kind of on the horizon.
What did you feel like was coming and why did you feel it was bad at that time?

And then in twenty twenty two, twenty three, that really had a step change.
but maybe possible.
So you're talking about people engineering a particular type of virus using AI that would not be possible before without AI.

You've named these three, like bioterrorism, warfare, and environmental destruction.
Um, where else do you feel like are the threats from AI?
Just kind of blobs.
Right.
And this is what they talk about, this kind of like an increasingly frictionless world, and that friction is actually the thing that we need a lot for growth.
Like a muscle needs to tear to grow, right?
And there is a certain level of friction in our way of interacting with the world that actually helps us evolve.
Yeah.
Right.
So when you talk about the takeover scenario, you're not just speaking of the AI, you know, acting on its own or refusing commands or taking over systems, but influencing our own behavior and our own mind psychologically.
