Just after the Broadway star fires her assistant for not getting her a bottle of water because she was hit by a bike messenger, Amber compliments Sharpay but also calls her Sharpie.
Sharpay asks about the assistant, and Amber of course lies, saying she quit.
Sharpay offers to help until she finds a new assistant, but it can't affect her decision on which dog gets the starring role.
She couldn't live with herself if she ended up unfair.

Amber says, of course it won't.
Then ask Sharpay to make her a dinner reservation for her and get her mic adjusted by the sound guy.
We're now backstage.
Sharpay delivers the audio equipment and explains that the wire is hurting Amber's scalp, but she thinks it's probably just her shampoo.
