But now, since we're talking about this type of a movie, we've got to talk about the soundtrack.
DCOM plus 2010s equals big music.
The soundtrack came out on Walt Disney Records the same day as the movie release, and the first single was Gonna Shine by Ashley Tisdale.
The album features music from the movie sung by Tisdale and also singer named Sean Molko, who was the singing voice for the character Roger Elliston.
And there's a cover of Justin Bieber's Baby and a Walking on Sunshine cover, which we've heard before by Ali and AJ, which also appeared in the movie Herbie Fully Loaded.
Okay, so we mentioned the spinoff when we covered the first High School Musical, but before you became a host of a very niche, DCOM-focused podcast, did you know that Sharpay had her own movie, and had you seen it?
No, I agree.
I, by the way, had no idea this existed, but that's not to be.
