Now, we don't know the motive for this yet, and we're not here to speculate, obviously.
But what we do know is that this is far from the first time in Germany that a car has driven into a crowd at a big event.

Tens of thousands of tourists and residents alike have been instructed to leave Biscay Ross, the Cap Ferré Peninsula and seven small towns west of Bordeaux.
And with the weather making things harder for firefighters, the French Prime Minister has warned the wildfires will just continue to burn.
Then there's Spain, where about 90,000 people have been told to flee an area west of Madrid or to stay inside their homes.
