Now we're off on a tangent, but one of my very favorite other podcast hosts, I'm sorry to bring up someone else.

I feel like I'm cheating, but she just contracted cholera from an oyster.

Uh, she's fine.

And I say friend because it's like friend to my ears.

She's like kind of a known podcaster.

Um, and I listened to the show and she's been documenting her trials and tribulations with cholera, but it's this bizarre, like Dickensian situation that she finds herself in because she went on a vacation to, I believe somewhere in Southern California or Mexico.

And when she was there, she had a lot of shellfish.

And I think there's something to do with the Pacific coast.

shellfish that now you can contract cholera and a whole host of other disgusting things so if you are gonna indulge in oysters which i sometimes do i would say keep it to the atlantic and uh and and don't climb a building don't marry someone who climbs a building it feels like obvious life advice but here we are in 2026 having to give it all right don't climb a building don't eat oysters uh this episode brought to you by so and so oyster farm delicious now
