Which is way up north.

And it turns out they had a quota of people like Katimovic was trying to select people from small towns, rural towns, east, west, French, English, and they were desperate for people from the north.

So I got accepted.

I didn't expect I was on my way, I was looking for apartments and places in Edmonton.

I was gonna and then I got this notice, Congratulations, you've been in and I was like, What the hell?

So I thought, Okay, okay.

I'll take one year off of my lucrative law degree path.

And I'll I'll I'll take a gap here kind of and uh

joined this volunteer corps.

And so I did.

I they sent me that was my first real travels.

Um, and it sent me to the interior of British Columbia.

And then I went to southern Ontario and then I went to Quebec.

And by the time I was done I'd totally forgotten about law.

And uh I signed up for another volunteer program.

Called Canada World Use.

Which sent me to South America in Ecuador.

And by the time I came back I had no interest in uh in law and I s uh I enrolled in a

film production course at York University.

I wanted to make uh documentaries or travel, something like that.
