recognizing that you don't need the thank you all the time but if no one is saying thank you then maybe it means that somehow the gift just isn't meeting the moment yeah because it's easy and i've been in that position to be like well they're awesome they're like super appreciative these people like they just are not appreciative as opposed to holding up the mirror and being like okay
