And it's like, where do I start now?
Like, I want to do the right thing for my health, but I'm walking 10,000 steps.
Now someone's telling me I shouldn't do that.
And I'm doing this diet.
And now someone else has said, that's actually the worst thing you can do for your health.
I'm lost.
So I wanted to give them the minimum effective dose, science-backed answer to this is what you actually need to do if you want to see progress.
So I kind of had both of those people held in my mind when I wrote this book.
So that's who it's for.
And so you can meet somebody wherever they are on their journey, right?
I would say no, there's a lot I'm still working towards, I would say, but I'm on the right path, I think.
In answer to your question, the word I would keep coming back to is momentum.
And momentum is obviously a movement word.
And I think movement is obviously so important.
It's what I've built my career around.
But I think momentum also describes progress.
And I know personally for me that when I felt at my best, it's been when I can actively feel like I'm making progress towards something.
If I'm flatlined or if I'm declining,
I'm a terrible version of myself.
So I feel like everyone just needs to feel or to get into a position where they feel like they are making progress and they do have some momentum because momentum is a privilege and it keeps you driving forward.
