It's quite an unusual one in a reasonably short period of time.
But Eoghan Riley said himself, I think he said when he saw Stephen Gleeson, he's 35 now.
He'd been out of the country for quite a while.
I know he was travelling back and forth to play for Abbey Leakes and that was very much a passion for him to come back and play in.
But coming back and playing for Gleeson in his mid-30s and getting into goal and then playing as well as he did in the final yesterday was some achievement.
So well done to Eoghan as well.
I do agree with a couple of people there.
I know Richard Hogan had said it as well.
I said it online yesterday.
I actually think that Leash, if they don't end up with everyone retiring, and that's obviously a concern that some lads might go, got them back up to Leinster, maybe that's the end of the road for me and Tommy Fitz has to rebuild.
I think the fact they're back up to Division 1B, having won Division 2 very comfortably this season, they'll play with a lot of the teams they're going to play against in Leinster in that league, which is going to be good preparation for Leinster next year.
I still stand over the fact I think Leash will give Offaly and Wex for good games next season.
Will it be enough to stay up?
I don't know.
And unfortunately, that's the OYO effect of Joe McDonagh into Leinster and back down again.
So let's see what happens.
But that's where they're at at this stage.
We kind of ended up talking with Derek Ling a bit around the way.
And like two poor finals.
Again, I don't think the final today was a particularly poor final.
