Two or three of those lads are already playing senior hurling.

Two of them in Rabbit and Nyland are already kind of key players for the senior team for the rest of the summer.

Touch wood for them, they kind of stay injury-free over the next while because a lot of load on them over the last few weeks.

I know that Nyland was carrying that bit of an injury in the last few weeks too.

But at this stage already, they will always say to you, if you can get two or three lads off a team, you're doing well with an underage team.

And it looks like that's going to be very much the case with this group of Galway 20s.

Yeah, well, look, Murph was on Saturday duty, so we'll get to the Saturday finals in a second.

But just one last question on young players in Galway.

Are you surprised that some of them have become so central to the senior team already, given the age profile of some of these lads?

Or was it a case of you always had a feeling that they were going to come through and it was just a case of Michal giving them a chance and then out they went and on they've flown now?
