Are you surprised that some of them have become so central to the senior team already, given the age profile of some of these lads?

Or was it a case of you always had a feeling that they were going to come through and it was just a case of Michal giving them a chance and then out they went and on they've flown now?

and conor whelan's feeling uh which is the company made he felt maybe he went a bit too strong in the strength and condition but he was trying to catch up with the uh the other lads and panels at the time and then eventually he kind of found his own base for his body and found something that kind of fit him a little bit better than the amount of bulking he was trying to do at the time but i think just at that point i think young lads nowadays as well are really really aware because their own strength and condition program was much earlier

of where they need to be at if they're going to hit adult hurling and they're going to be in the space to do that.

And I watched some of these lads that are coming through under 20s at the moment.
