The other 200 were all kinds of bizarre one-off situations where it was like, this person only works on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but doesn't work every other week.
I mean, they were hiring so fast that the people they were taking on weren't necessarily the best staff for the company.
Uh, a couple of things.
The reason I wanted to buy the company is mostly because I didn't believe that company should fail.
I was a huge fan of the model.
It's a great company.
It solved a really important problem, and I didn't want to see a company like that fail.
And that wasn't me just being kind of like, oh, I'm writing in to save the day.
It was more like every now and again, a company should fail.
When WeWork took a header...
I mean, I don't hate flex office space, but I did look at what they were doing.
Like, dude, you guys are a little over your toes, right?
You probably need to be taken down a notch.
But this wasn't a business where I was like, oh, what a shit business.
I was just like, it's a great business.
They just missed the mark on it.
