She adored me and she was funny, brilliant.
She taught me to read before I went to school.

I mean, I could read and write at three.
My dad would despairingly say, because mum thought I was a prodigy, but dad would say, John Stuart Mill could read and write by the age of three, but in Latin and Greek as well.
She was endlessly inventive, funny.
