So maybe Trump really was like, all right, well, you know, never mind.
You guys aren't getting the files because it's going to embarrass me.
And now here we are several months later and they've had to release them anyway.
Am I wrong there?
No, I mean, he's saying, you know, let's just say some people who might have been friends with Epstein, they might be in pictures with him, you know, but they didn't do anything wrong.
I mean, it certainly sounds like he's sort of laying the groundwork for his own excuse.
Yeah, I mean, that's what it's so crazy is, as you said, as you said, I mean, Larry Summers isn't even the president of Harvard anymore.
These people, much lower ranking people who are facing blowback for it.
And, you know, I think we can see over and over the Justice Department is clearly freaked out that they have to do this release.
They put out a tweet today saying just because Trump's in the files doesn't mean anything.
They pulled down the files they initially posted and then, you know, had to post them back up.
They posted a picture of pictures of Trump on Epstein's desk that they then redacted and did a new release of.
So clearly they're trying to really limit Trump's exposure here, I think, because they know that that more is going to come out.
And, you know, we know that the FBI reviewed the files for mentions of Trump.
Did they keep all of those files in or did they take some of them away?
I think there's going to be kind of this drip, drip, drip that keeps happening and Trump really can't get out of it.
It's crazy.
I mean, there's a full-blown MAGA civil war right now.
