There's a misconception that people get fired by the CEOs.
That is because of pressure put on CEOs by the boards, by people listening.
Or let's say the board member has dinner with his mates and his friends and they go, I'm quoting Rory here, you shouldn't deal with the devil, you need to get rid of that devil, he's killing Irish rugby.
That's how you get fired.
Then the CEO goes, maybe they're right.
Maybe they are.
And that's how you get fired.
So your question is, listen, am I going to be here?
I hope so.
OK, I'm currently not so sure, to be honest.
And then he was asked, why aren't you sure?
And he said, because I don't think people value me here.
They don't value me.
They don't.
And he kind of then indicated that he was kind of more talking with the fans and the fan perception of him and the media criticism of him.
He went on to defend his record since he came in, you know, about winning the URC and getting to the business end of Europe.
And then someone asked him, are you willing to stay and fight and show you're the man for the job?
