So that was Glasgow 33, Connacht 21.
The second game of the weekend was Bulls 45, Munster 14.
And to be honest, as soon as these teams were named, it looked like a very, very difficult task for Munster.
The Bulls team was so stacked
like, you know, Willy Leroux, Curly Orenza, Cain and Moody, Andre Pollard, you know, Ambrose Papier, who in both Munster games this year has just been, like, you know, an absolute handful at scrum half.
And then even the pack, like, Cameron Hanekom, Marcel Cotillard, Leroux North, you know, even their, you know, their all-spring box from row, like, Wilco Lowe pulled out, and their scrum was still really dominant with Clapper coming in.
And then Munster, by contrast, obviously, no Crowley, no Byrne, and in addition to that, like, Jaeger, Milne, Adogbo, Klein, Calvin Nash were all ruled out, so...
In some ways, the scoreline isn't that surprising.
Still a very disappointing end to the Munster season, Luke.
The one that was a real killer was like, for all that the Bulls, you know, looked dominant and had a couple of tries to slid in that first half, like Munster score to cut it back to 17-14.
And from the resulting kickoff, they feel the ball.
the Bulls make a tackle and somehow Eldrick Lowe gets a poach penalty in the Munster 22, even though there's five Munster forwards surrounding the breakdown and one Bulls forward.
And then the Bulls just kick it into the corner and score immediately off the mall, try to go back to 24-14 and the game is done.
It's kind of an inexcusable mistake, Jonathan.
I just don't even know how you get turned over like that in your own 22 when you have the cavalry there and the Bulls are the guy just sending one guy into the ruck.
That was so disappointing because they'd actually like kind of,
kind of took the punches and somehow we're still in the game when it looked like the Bulls were well on top, but yet give away sort of cheap one then.
Yeah, 50% of the teams making the knockout stages in the league seems too many.
Like I know the top 14 have six out of 14.
I'm not sure what the exact breakdown is.
