So absolutely, we're going to see bankruptcies climb just like they did last time. matched

We're going to see the cost of inputs go up and we're going to see the cost of what we can sell our products for go down. matched

And that, Don, that's the deadly combination. matched

Just imagine whether you're selling cakes or hot dogs or tomatoes or corn, whatever it is, if the price of everything that you need to raise that crop goes up and then the price that you sell everything for goes down because nobody's buying it anymore because China stopped, Canada stopped, Europe stopped, Mexico stopped, then you're stuck in between with high inputs, low outputs. matched

And that is the very definition of the equation for bankruptcy for farmers. matched

I think what he's gonna try to do, Don, is he's gonna try to convince farmers that he's gonna be there with a bailout again, but that's not gonna do anything to fix the pricing problem. matched

And here's why I don't think bailouts may happen this time, Don, and we talked about this a little bit the last time I was on. matched

First of all, in Project 2025, and farmers are coming around now on Project 2025, they realize it's the blueprint for the USDA. matched

You've got a large section of the Republican Party now that wants to get rid of subsidies and crop insurance in order to balance the budget. matched

Right. matched

So you no longer have this blanket acceptance of subsidies across the Republican Party. matched

And frankly, on the other side of the equation, you've got a lot of Democrats that are saying now, wait a minute, this happened to you once before. matched

And then you turned around as farmers and ranchers and 70 percent of you voted for it again. matched

Maybe we're not going to be here with subsidies this time either. matched

So if farmers don't get those subsidies because of those two groups of politicians, then it's going to be a world of hurt inflicted upon all of them. matched

You already know what I'm going to say because I said it last time and I'm going to say it again. matched

Number one is they're just absolutely convinced that they're going to get subsidies to bail them out again. matched

Absolutely convinced that there's no way that any politician in Washington, D.C. matched

would let farming in this country tank. matched
