It's especially a place like Istanbul that's a cosmopolitan city with millions of people and, you know, it's not representative of what you'd think of the Middle East because it isn't.
But
we're going to learn to be able to open up and communicate or at least see a lot of the beings and a lot of the history of these places and the people that were part of it.
And I can't describe the feeling when you're sitting there and you're watching the Roman soldiers practicing and exercising or seeing the battle going on.
Or watching people walking down the street doing their daily business.
Or sitting in a pub and having Sir Francis Drake look in the window at you.
That happened in Exeter.
That didn't happen in Istanbul.
But it's truly... I hate the word to keep using, amazing, but I don't have the vocabulary to express the degree of...
enjoyment and coming alive that you get it's the same kind of thing like the butterfly opening up you just come alive with it spiritually emotionally all kinds of ways and um i can't wait

I've got a conference at Port Gamble in October.
Kasia and I are working on an event together, probably September.
