And so for me, I wanted to share a little bit that in 2023, I got a phone call from

that was something that I could never anticipate.

It was January of 2023, and it was a call that was made, one of my sons called to tell me that he had talked to a friend of ours that does a lot of work with the prisons, has a lot of entrees on big time boards, and that he was at one of the prisons, and that an inmate walked up to him and asked him if he knew me.

So he said, do you know Blinky?

And he said, yeah.

He says, why?

And the guy says, because I like to talk to him.

And he said, well, why?

He said, because I'm the guy that murdered his son.

And so my son's telling me that our friend wanted to know if I would consider talking to him on the phone.

So I had just entered into a season of fasting and praying.

Me and my wife now, we're gonna celebrate 10 years, Gloria, you know?

And I said, I don't know.

I was grappling, Joe.

I was grappling, I was fighting with it.

And then I heard a gentle voice and it was, say yes, say yes.

So I called my son back.

And I said, tell them, I said, yes, but I don't want to talk to them on the phone.

I want to see them in person.

And so that's exactly what happened.
