Well, that's part of the issue for Aston Martin is it's not 2015, it's 2018.
And since then, we've seen a number of luxury manufacturers from Bentley,
Lamborghini, Audi, with its high-end products, putting luxury SUVs in the market.
Maserati has an SUV plant.
So it's a very crowded market.
And the question is whether or not Aston Martin will be able to deliver on its promise.
That's true.
Palmer has done an excellent job.
He's really turned the company around.
It is on an upward trajectory.
That is not the question.
The question is whether or not it's going to be strong enough to justify a valuation that is very, very aggressive at the high end.
And this is what analysts are saying.
They're saying, well, maybe it's better if you're an investor.
Maybe it's better to come down in the mid-range.
of that valuation between £4 billion and £5 billion rather than buy-in at the top end.
So right now we have a price range that's been made public.
And on October 3rd, we're going to get the final price.
And that will tell us exactly what Aston Martin has worked.
