They chose the medical situation as an out because I think they realized with the current roster, even with Max Crosby, they weren't going to be competitive to –

possibly land into the playoffs or win the division.

Think about it.

They don't have a number one receiver.

Zay Flowers is technically their number one receiver.

So they need a lot of pieces.

They need more help.

And even with the roster they had going into this year, there was a belief that with the roster they had this year, they could win a Super Bowl.
