I know a little about it, mostly because before I did start practicing, I studied as much as I could about the different beliefs and religions and things out there.
I know voodoo, it's really not as, I know it's definitely not as evil or horrible as people think,
tend to give it the, you know, to think that it is, especially with TV and movies and things like that, you know.
It actually has some really heavy roots in Catholicism, and it's so, like, for instance, when people see voodoo dolls, these dolls aren't always used for
things.
These dolls can be used as part of healing, as part of...
you know, as part of, you know, just a point of focus, pretty much.
And the pins that are portrayed, actually the voodoo practitioner will use the pin to place either a lock of hair or a piece of clothing or something to the doll to give it the personification of whoever they are doing the spell for or helping or, you know, I mean, and,
know,
there are some, you know, there are some practitioners who do
use these things for, you know, evil and unhealthy purposes.
But the pins in the voodoo doll are actually used to hold these pieces onto the doll to give it, you know, to personify it.
It's not necessarily to harm somebody.
So that's one of the misunderstandings that I think people tend to see with voodoo.
But, you know, I know that people who do practice it are extremely passionate about it.
I know that it's extremely... And it does involve a lot of... They will use some blood to give whatever they're doing more power and things like that.
So I think that scares people, and I think it's one
reasons why it's one of the more feared types of religion and spells that people do.
