was sort of writing that starting a couple of weeks ago, months ago.
And I realized to my horror that when I actually got into the memory, he always had two buttons in this drawer.
And one of them said, go to hell LSU.
And the other one said, Archie's army.
And he sort of alternated between them.

But I realized in this panic that,
Man, I would have passed a lie detector test that I buried in with the go to hell LSU button.
Like I was so sure of it.
And then when I actually got into the memory and had to be rigorous with it, I realized that I remember standing in front of the drawer and I remember having the internal debate about maybe it was a bad idea to have the word hell.
hell buried in someone forever.
And I don't remember which one I picked.
And so the whole story that follows is about what happens when you inherit love and hate, but not the reasons.
I mean, it's sort of like Baudrillardian almost because like we're copies without an original.
But, you know, it is that idea that what happens when we retain all of the rituals, but had totally lost the reasons why we do them.
And that feels applicable in Ole Miss LSU, and it feels applicable in the country at large.
