You are absolutely going to continue to see steroidal growth in the communication operations that are taken, influence operations.
We're already seeing that.
We know that Russia and the CCP are very much engaged in weaponizing AI right now against American interests to dominate the AI race.
And so one of the things I think we have to understand is why this matters.
Let's frame the stakes.
So the reason when we hear this thing about we've got to win the AI race, a lot of people say, oh, that's just a bunch of marketing hype from big tech.
They just want to make more money and the rest of it.
I'm sure they do.
They are capitalists.
And I support free market capitalism like I think most of us do.
But there's really two main things that we have to understand here.
One is the economic stakes.
40% of the S&P 500 is constituted around the MAG7, our magnificent seven, the seven American dominant tech players, which obviously make up so much of the AI space.
So I want everybody to really think about that's a tentpole exercise.
economically for America.
And the CCP certainly understands the economic side of this because we saw when R1, DeepSeek, China's AI model was released, you had the single biggest market cap loss in American history of an American company, NVIDIA, 600 billion, almost two thirds of a trillion dollar wipeout in a single day.
So what are we saying?
We're
that we have to win.
But I think the real thing that most of us care about more than that is the national security side, right?
