So testosterone suppresses sperm production if you give people an injection, but so does progesterone, in which case you'd have to give testosterone anyway.
So why not just give testosterone, which I feel like every time I get on a train, I see an ad for testosterone.
And Richard, I think a lot of people might be surprised that giving testosterone reduces sperm count.
We think of testosterone as a hormone of masculinity.
Some listeners might think, well, that would boost sperm count.
Richard, can you just walk us through the different ways that men could potentially take these hormones?
