So to use that opportunity to support their own industry.
And then the problem is that they can't buy everything from Europe.
They need to buy some of the stuff from the U.S.
and also the U.S.
wants them to procure some of the stuff.
And in the latest summit, they were showcasing how much they're actually going to buy from the U.S.
The other issue is that it hasn't been that easy to get, especially the Europeans, to work together across countries to produce things together.
And also they each want to support their own national industries.
So, again, we found it difficult to unite Europe.

So the Office for Budget Responsibility, there's similar offices in other, especially European countries, which is the area I cover.
And they look at where public finances are going to be based on current government plans.
And they produce this longer term report on the sustainability of public finances.
They just issued it in the last few days.
And the interesting points to highlight are that in the longer term, they're looking at 50 years range, debt is unlikely to be sustainable unless certain measures were going to be taken.
I.e.
raising taxes or cutting spending.
So you probably need to do both because we have an aging population that will require more health care, more social care, and there'll be a rise in the spend on pension, on state pension provision, and all that would raise the debt levels.
Well, I mean, it is likely to influence capital flows, at least portfolio capital flows and trading.
