Yeah, absolutely.
So yeah, if if they don't really do aggressive policy stimulus, then there clearly is a risk of, you know, China what I call sleepwalking in Japan.
Yeah, but the problem the problem is when Japan began to stagnate, Japan was it be already became a developed economy, right?
So it has one of the highest per capita GDP.
So China is still very low.
Chinese per capita GDP now is like twelve thousand US dollars, is like you know, twenty percent of US level.
So so that's why to stagnate at this level.
It is a bad it's a bad deal for Beijing, right?
So they shouldn't uh um allow the economy to stagnate at such a low income level.
Um, so what can change things around?
That's a you know, that's a billion dollar question.
Really no nobody can tell.

But uh I still I'm hopeful that uh Beijing still cares about growth.
As I said earlier, you know, China is determined to push the country into a high-income country, high-income status.
So they do need growth.
They do have kind of multi-year long-term growth target.
So for them to achieve that, they have to have a very pro-growth, pragmatic mentality.
