I have no idea how they did it because this is really very, very, very primitive computers.

And they were actually able to prove some certain uh theorems of Principia by building this bottom up, you know, take this axioms and use the computer to to prove.

And this is becoming uh you know uh a an in uh an entire field of itself with this very distinguished history.

And uh just to mention that this nineteen fifty-six is actually a very interesting year because it's that's it's the same year, fifty-six-fifty-seven, that the first neural networks uh emerged from the basement of Penn and MIT.

And that's really interesting, right?

So people in the in the fifties were really thinking about the beginnings of AI.

You know, because neural networks is what we now call, you know, you know, goes under the rubber of AI.

And at the same time, they were really thinking about computers to prove thermos in mathematics.

So it's 56 was a kind of a magical year.

And you know, this this neural network really was a neural network in the sense that you know they they they put

It's a it's a war size of photoreceptors and they were using, you know, flashlights to try to stimulate neurons, l literally to try to stimulate computation.

That's quite an impressive uh

uh uh impressive thing.

And then this this thing really developed, right?

And then and and now, you know, fib you know, a half a century later,

Um we have very advanced and very, very sophisticated uh computer the what what's what uh computer aided uh proof automated theorem provers.

Uh things like the Coch system, the lean system.

And they were able to to create so cock was what was used in this four color the the full verification of the four c the proof of the four colour theorem was through the coch system.

And you know, then there's the Phi Thompson theorem, which got
