I mean, for me the most exciting thing about this whole community is is that, you know
Science and you know and and uh and especially you know theoretical science.
Well no not especially science, uh including theoretical science, has become so compart compartmentalized.
Right.
You know, everyone is doing this tiny little bit of thing.
And and and string theory has been breaking that mold for the last decades.
It's constantly go, let's take a piece of algebraic geometry, let's take a
Bit of number theory here, elliptic curves.
Let's take a bit of quantum information, entanglement, whatever, entropy, black holes.
And it's kind it it's the only field that I know that um different expertise are talking to each other.
And in this doesn't happen in any other field that I that I know of in uh sort of mathematics, uh theoretical physics.
And that just gets me excited.
And that's what I really like thinking about.
Sure.
Um well thank you very much for having me here.
And uh I'm gonna talk about uh work I've been thinking about, stuff I've been thinking about for the last seven years, which is how AI can help us do uh mathematical discovery, how you know, in in theoretical physics and pure mathematics.
I I recently wrote this uh review uh for for Nature, uh which is trying to summarize a lot of these ideas that I've been uh thinking about.
And there's an earlier review that I wrote in two thousand twenty one about you know how machine learning can help us with understanding mathematics.
So let me just uh take it away and think about oh, by the way, please feel free to interrupt me.
