We're finally here.

I've heard too many retools, let's try quick turnaround, prospects, 22, 23-year-olds that can maybe come in and make a difference.

I'm not hearing that anymore, and that's what we've heard for 10 years.

It's at the point where now we're okay with being bad.

uh we're not trying to okay let's go into ufas let's try to trade let's let's add a top six winger let's add an impact defenseman and then we were no i'm not hearing that so yeah there's a lot of stuff going on right now that that are not good and yeah the agent polls and all those things um but but from an overall standpoint it looks like they're finally bought in that like it's okay to be good this year it's okay to be bad next year too let's get another top

four draft pick next year.

I wouldn't hate it.

I would love two or three first round draft picks as well next year.

See if you can turn some of these players over that you still have on the roster that are a good player, whether it's a DeBrus, Besser, Heronic we're talking about.

And then let's see where we can be

five, six years from now because there's no quick fix here.

We've seen the quick fixes.

They didn't happen.

They didn't materialize except we're 10 years down the line and we're probably in the worst position than we were at that point.

The change of scenery, I don't necessarily disagree with.

I don't think you can find that right now.

The contract's too big, it's too many years.

He's still a good hockey player.

I don't mind holding on to him.

Where does he slot in next year?
