But even if they come with decisions already made, they want to
Having psychedelic experience for whatever reason to start talking and then see if they still need to have that experience, I think is super helpful.
So, um w what else what else do you do uh as in a way of screening?
Or maybe not what else do you do necessarily, but what would you recommend to a coach who's coming to you without clinical background and uh saying I would
need I wanna figure out whether whether I can work with a person or psychedelics will be safe for them or at least safe enough uh so that I can do some coaching work with them.
Um so there are ask what's the what's the bare minimum of questions?
But it can also be for someone coaches need to be really careful about that because I've had coaches in supervision where somebody turned up who seemed to me quite manic and for them it was just a really exciting client because you know many coaches love grandiose ideas and they're really thinking beyond possibilities.
Some coaches really try to get that out.
Like if this if this coaching session today would go beyond your wildest imagination and
And you would create, you know, your dream life, what would that be?
And so I think some coaches really want to open those kind of doors.
And when there's in somebody coming who thinks that like high speeds and they're really creative and they're really active and they're really motivated, uh I think
It's important that as coaches we don't get to collude with those people.
Um, and that we take a step back, slow down and ask ourselves
Who might this person be?
Because we cannot diagnose mania, but to you know, get the science and then we need to figure out is this is this a manic person pretending to be normal?
Or is this a normal, very motivated, very excited, passionate person?
It can be it can be difficult to tell.
Yeah.
I take a slightly different direction, um, unless there's more around the um screening that you think might be worth mentioning to Coach.
