So is water the next target in the war with Iran?

I'm not talking about the Strait of Hormuz.

I'm not talking about the Caspian Sea or the Red Sea.

Caspian Sea, by the way, we talked about yesterday.

I am talking about water plants here in the United States.

So why do I say that?

Well, the FBI sent out a warning on Thursday that hackers are targeting critical infrastructure like water and wastewater facilities.

At least seven states have reported cyber attacks on municipal water systems this week alone.

And then in Minnesota, hackers infiltrated more than 30 water facilities.

Some law enforcement officials tell NBC News that those attacks had hallmarks of Iranian hackers.

So the question is, why?
