And I even got to call her and talk to her on the phone.

And she and I had never met before.

But just like the level of support and care that we give each other was like...

just astounding to me.

As soon as I joined, I was able to like connect and talk on the phone with people about all of these questions I had.

So I'm just so grateful.

There's so many artists that like, I feel like I'm like,

close friends with now based on like us helping each other.

And then also Kristen Kuhn, who does like large scale felt commission works, like she also gave me a lot of feedback.

So once I was in conversation with the art consultant agency, I was able to navigate like

all of these steps because of the support I got from the network members, like questions, like how to split the income between the consultant and the artist, like dividing, like how much an artist gets and how much the consultant gets.

I had no idea how to do that.

And it was like, like,

The consultant might think 50-50 is what they want, but really the range is 70-30 to 50-50.

So I didn't know that range even existed.

Just a lot of this insider wisdom from these members.

Then also...

In the accountability groups where we meet on Zoom, we would look at each other's emails.

So I would have these emails to the art consultant and then all the artists would look and be giving me feedback on how to make it sound more professional or more confident.
