But there are already strict guidelines around abortion from 23 weeks under the current health laws.

Prudence says there's also been a surge in social media anti-abortion influences working to sway people's views and generate outrage.
Earlier this year, images circulated on social media allegedly showing two tiny twin human fetuses called Emma and Ruth.
Anti-abortion activist and immigration law expert, Professor Joanna Howe, claims she was sent the image by a woman ashamed of her abortion.
The fetuses were not human.
But even after the truth was revealed in a Guardian article, Professor Howes continued to share the images, and a month later during an anti-abortion protest held in New South Wales, Barnaby Joyce spoke, flanked by posters with the names Emma and Ruth.
I think it kind of shows how.
This rally was held in response to a New South Wales bill introduced by Libertarian Party MP John Ruddick.
It sought to ban abortions for supposed sex selection.
Experts have said this bill is predicated on misinformation, and there are already restrictions in the current Health Act to prevent sex selection abortions for non-medical reasons.
Prudence says that these claims aren't original.
It's from that playbook again by anti-abortion activists in the United States.
