And I thought she did the syntax really well.
I could totally picture some of my Central or Eastern European friends talking.
And I thought she did a really great job with the dialogue.
and very much enjoyed her style of writing.
Oh, I loved it because when I first moved to Australia, I lived on the North Shore in Northbridge.
So hearing about Lisa going back home to Chatswood and then going over to Mossman for one of Magda's tea parties and things, it was delightful.
I thought she painted Sydney in such a warm way.
And I think, you know, in the biography, Madeleine,
I thought it was interesting that Helen Trinker said that she wrote about Sydney in a warm but not sentimental way.
Because I thought there was a little bit of sentiment there.
