And then you realize like, they're not here for me.

They're here for them, which is just as important.

There's actually like the people you least expect that have the biggest impact is I had, we called him an uncle growing up.

Wasn't really my uncle, but yeah,

was definitely in my life a lot more when I was younger than at that point.

And he was in a very bad motorcycle accident, maybe a year prior or maybe a little bit longer than that, but he was in rough shape.

He, you know, maybe in his fifties at the time wasn't,

Paralyzed.

I think he just shattered both of his legs.

Doctors told him the same thing.

Dude, you're in your 50s.

You're never going to walk again.

There's just no way.

But he got through it, was able to walk.

It took a long time.

But he was the one person who came into the hospital room, I remember.

And he had a huge smile on his face.

And that was one of the most powerful things.

Because as I said, everyone was just sad.

And while that had a motivating effect, it also just created an environment that didn't really foster hope.
