But it's also kind of hard to measure like how much of that is like
auto reflexes and just kind of like almost like a signal, like trying to get through that, like can't.
And it's just kind of like spazzing out like your muscles.
And I couldn't really communicate like that.

And I don't fully remember the first time, like being able to move my right hand, but yeah,
My goal at the time was I just want to be able to change the channel myself because that's all I had to do was just watch TV endlessly, movies, TV shows.
And what I actually found to be the most therapeutic was music.
And it was a friend of mine, another friend who we weren't incredibly close, but knew I loved at the time, this band OAR.
He brought in some of their albums, just put them on.
And that I just found like super peaceful.
And they actually, someone in my family reached out to them.
They sent me like a whole like signed poster that was like a note.
Like they wrote me personally.
I had it all framed and actually exactly a year after the date of my injury, our basement flooded and it got ruined.
Yeah, it was very cool to see that level of support from a group that I admired.
And in order to move out of the ICU, you can't be on fentanyl.
If you're going to a rehab wing, you can't be on that level of painkiller if you're really trying to rehab and recover.
