I'm not saying we perfected it, but I think there's some people who should get divorced, and my parents were one of them.
But yeah, other than that, I had an aunt that passed away when... I think it was before the divorce, so I don't really remember that.
She died super young, my mom's sister.
And yeah, other than that, it was all just happy-go-lucky, like...
know there were sad times or like difficult situations but looking back at it it's all like minor high school drama or college drama like that just didn't matter and that that night is what kind of like broke that illusion not just for myself but i think for my friend group as a whole
And it was actually like a few months later, one of my good friends at the time, he went back to the university of Missouri.
It was just like in his dorm room, leaned up against the window and it gave out, fell like he was in real bad shape.
I think he fell three stories.
Yeah.
And so like, it was like all of a sudden, like, like the wheels are starting to come off.
Like,
there are bad things that can happen in this world.
Like we've been living in kind of a bubble and he went to the same high school I did.
He was my brother's age, but he actually, we worked together the summer of my injury.
So we were super close and we had two very different experiences in recovery.
Obviously my injury was a lot worse, but you know, he got prescribed
And one day his doctor was like, you don't need them anymore.
And he started to go through withdrawal.
He texted me a couple of times.
