And you're home and you're like, oh, nothing's changed since I was in the hospital.
And that was a super depressing feeling.
That was, I think, the only time I was truly depressed.
that was the most difficult thing for me because i didn't expect it to be difficult and all those little frustrations really started to add up like oh like i my bedroom i live i moved back in with my dad because he had a full-time nanny for my little sister who was like two at the time or half sister so that just made sense my basement or my bedroom was in the basement but couldn't go there so set up a bedroom on the ground floor
you know, just like not being able to like get my own cereal, not being able to drive anywhere, not being able to, you know, move around like certain corners, just like showering, like was like not enjoyable.
It was like a chore.
Everything started to like feel like a chore.
It's like I didn't have like a 24 seven support staff anymore.
Sleeping became really difficult.
I mean, in the hospital, it already was difficult.
And that I think lack of sleep, I think is like the most powerful hallucinogen is I would sleep for maybe an hour at a time.
Like it was just impossible for me to sleep any longer than that, even when I got home from the hospital.
And I mean, maybe obviously it was an effect of the drugs as well, but I had some very
powerful hallucinations that honestly, like I didn't even know were hallucinations up until maybe recently one, like I told, um,
my dad and my family i was like i was read my last rights in the hospital like i remember that like there was a priest there's like you know catholic sacrament like priest comes in blesses you before you know you pass on i was like that happened like i have a very vivid memory of that and my dad was always like no way like it never got that bad like if you were read your last rights like i would have known about it and
So we were always like, okay, like let's just agree to disagree.
And it wasn't until I talked to Amy and she's like, describe that memory to me.
I was like, I don't know.
It was like me in the hospital room.
Like, and it was like just the priest there.
