And I think that was something that took me a long time to figure out because I went through like another, I guess, period of depression, like after I graduated college and I was living downtown with my little brother, like downtown Chicago and
And I decided to just move back home with my mom and kind of reset.
And my doctor was like, here's a month's supply of Lexapro.
You're obviously depressed.
And I just remember staring at that bottle on my dresser.
And I was just like, no, I can't do it again.
And I just flushed it.
And I was like...
that was one of the best decisions i made and just like yeah the various drugs like i mentioned my doctor like basically gave me like carte blanche like have as much as you want and that worked out for me and the opposite didn't work out for my friend but it's kind of like you have to have like
a level of like introspection to know like what's best for you and while at the same time taking advice from loved ones and professionals it's life's hard and it just it's kind of uh relentless but like all the down times or the low points are what makes the high points like
worth it and that's what ultimately like what makes life beautiful is like those ups and downs and like the various emotions and the various like i don't know wins and losses and friends that come and go and
it's just been a very, uh, introspective experience to kind of like take a step back now with like a sober mind and try to like piece together everything I've learned as best I can.
But it's just, it's like one of those things where I knew like I've like had a story to tell for a while and,
I never really knew what it was exactly I wanted to say.
And even with my family, there's stuff on here that they probably never heard before.
But it's kind of like I've always wanted somebody to just ask the right questions.
But obviously now I realize that's not fair because I don't know what the right questions are.
